Disclosure: This post was developed in conjunction with Tide, and I was provided with product and compensation for this post. All opinions and clean, sparkling spaces are my own.
When I say Tide, you probably think laundry. And I can totally get why…Tide makes great products that are used in many homes, mine included. BUT, today, I have some other ways you can use new Tide OXI Multi-Purpose Stain Remover to get ALL your spring cleaning done. If you’re anything like me, you might have a ton of products in your cleaning closet that do specific things. I really think you could replace 90% of those cleaners with this product.
This product claims to have over 225+ household uses other than the laundry. Some examples are cleaning grout, upholstery, tile spots, shower doors, hard surfaces, soft surfaces, bathtubs, sinks, toilets…the list goes on and on.
I’m always skeptical about product claims until I get to try them out myself, so I tested out this Tide product on two tough spots in my home—my patio and my living room carpet. My backyard patio is unfortunately situated in the prime spot where wind inevitably sprinkles dust and pollen all over EVERYTHING, but especially my outdoor dining table. I don’t like to eat where it’s dirty, and I am sure you don’t either. It is a pain to keep it clean, and sometimes I just avoid going out there because it’s a huge chore to clean it all the time.
Adding to the chaos is my living room. My living room is where my family and I LIVE. We are in that room a lot, Pee Wee (the pooch) runs around a ton, and it’s just always getting stuff spilled on the carpet or mud gets tracked in from outside. It never ends. I don’t like complicated carpet cleaning treatments, so I was hoping this would work miracles on several stains that have been there for awhile.
In my video review below, you’ll see the results of my Tide experiment. I hope you’ll be as impressed as I was. The best part was I simply made my own “mix” by adding water to the powder. No waiting. No complicated measuring. Easy! Plus, it’s color safe, but tough on stains. (I would still test it on upholstery, just in case!)
The lovely folks at Tide also sent me two additional canisters to share the love with you fine people. So, if you’d like to win your very own canister of Tide OXI Multi-Purpose Stain Remover, you simply have to enter below. Super quick, easy, and fuss free to enter this giveaway.
