You all KNOW my love, obsession, affinity for Schumacher’s Chiang Mai Dragon fabric. I mean, I splurged on it for my Chiang Mai Dragon upholstered chippendale chairs.

And since then, I’ve totally been smitten with my chairs and THEN THIS HAPPENED:
Williams Sonoma Home hacked into my chinoiserie, dragon loving dreams and made this gorgeous decor baby by partnering up with Schumacher.
The collections are BEYOND GORGEOUS, and I do not know why it is not plastered on their website home page, but not to worry, I dug around to find all the goodies.
From what I can tell, Williams Sonoma Home has two chinoiserie lines within their Schumacher collab: Bixi and Chiang Mai.
Schumacher Bixi is a little more modern, abstract and geometric interpretation of the dragon motif.

Schumacher Chiang Mai is the more classic, almost literal interpretation from the fabric we all know and love.

I will preface this by stating I know that affordable is all relative, but given the price of Chiang Mai Dragon fabric, I found the decor pieces to be incredibly reasonable in this decor collection…minus the triptych I shared above which comes in at $4,600.
Top 10 Schumacher & Williams Sonoma Home Picks:
There’s a lot to love from the new collection, but here are my top 10 picks in no particular order. I based my top 10 picks off the items I felt gave the most bang for the buck OR the ones I deemed the most splurge worthy. Let’s shop!
Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon Double Old-Fashioned Glasses
These stunning glasses would look amazing on a bar cart or ON MY DINING TABLE!
Schumacher Dragon Champagne Bucket, Black
This ice bucket is a stunner, but it is made of glass, so I’d be nervous to use this on the daily. How gorgeous would this be as a vase though? I can see a dramatic floral arrangement in there on my island… bliss.
Schumacher Salad Plates, Set of 4
These plates would make any tablescape pop, but they’d also be fantastic as the starting point for a chinoiserie themed plate wall art installation. And each plate is different and incorporates various colors! Swoon.
Schumacher Chiang Mai Ginger Jar
Gold. Dragon. Ginger Jar. Chinoiserie. Perfection. Available in both small and large sizes, I think if there’s just one splurge worthy item, it’s this ginger jar. You’re never going to find something like this again! I just wish they had it with the alabaster background to have a hair more contrast.
Schumacher Chiang Mai Printed Duvet Cover & Shams

Ok, sooooo, this one is not the most affordable, I get it. BUT, hear me out. If you want to completely transform the look of a room in an hour, without any new decor or painting walls, here you go. If I didn’t have a dog that shed white hair EVERYWHERE, I’d consider the euro shams, but it is what it is.
Schumacher Cereal Bowls, Set of 4

Eating cereal has never looked this good. But truly, these would be great to dress up white dinnerware, or heck, buy one or two instead of a set to use as catchalls on a nightstand or end table for a luxe vibe under $20.
Schumacher Bixi Dragon Napkins, Set of 4

Again, think of the price of the Chiang Mai fabric, then look at the price of these Bixi dragon napkins. Bargain! If you’re not a cloth napkin type, frame these napkins for instant, high end chinoiserie art. They’re beefy at 20″ x 20″.
Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon Mugs, Set of 4
Perfect for coffee, ice cream servings, Bailey’s on ice, or literally anything you can fit in a mug. I only wish these Chiang Mai mugs were sold individually, too, so I could snag just one.
Schumacher Coasters, Set of 4, Blue & Gold
I am 100% buying these coasters! For under $30, gold rimmed, blue and white porcelain, SCHUMACHER… it doesn’t get more affordable than this. I love how the pattern is bold, yet a bit understated. Total home run and great for gift giving.
Schumacher Bixi Dragon Tablecloth, 70″ Round
And final item is this beautiful Bixi Dragon tablecloth available in round and rectangular shapes The dark colors make this family friendly for the dinner table OR get the big rectangular one and DIY your own throw pillow covers.
There’s a few items I spotted in the lifestyle photography (for example, the glass Chiang Mai decanter) that are not on the website yet, and items are available now to ship or to pre-order so ORDER SOON.
I anticipate this collection will be very popular, especially for some of the more modestly priced dinner/tableware options. Williams Sonoma sends out a heck of a lot of coupons, so sign up for their email list to usually snag a 15-20% off plus free shipping kind of deal.
Happy shopping!
