The original plan when I scheduled this spring tablescape and bar cart decor blog hop (boy, that’s a mouthful) was for me to share a spring tablescape with you…and then the items I ordered for it, namely some new runners, are MIA in transit somewhere. So, today I’m sharing with you my spring bar cart decor, and I’ll likely share my tablescape next week.
And if you’re joining me from Jeweled Interiors, hello! Her home is simply amazing, and you wouldn’t even know it’s a rental. Her style is so fabulous, and Jewel is a sweetheart that I would love to have a drink with someday in real life.
But for now we’ll all have to settle for a virtual spring soiree.
My bar cart is currently chic, floral, and glam for spring. And as always, I truly try to blend form and function with bar cart decor by including pretty things with necessary bar staples.
Up top, I used a stack of my fave cookbooks to keep my faux floral arrangement perched up high. I gave a full DIY on how I create my faux floral arrangements last week if you want to have a peek.
I love the pop of color the florals give.
Since my bar cart is right off the foyer, I love to keep a scented candle on here to quickly add some fragrance to my home when guests are coming over. This capri candle smells DIVINE and looks so perfect in my bamboo chinoiserie candle holder (a lucky HomeGoods find!)
I moved over my blue and white Fitz & Floyd bookend from my bookcase styling post to add a bit of kitsch and interest. You all know I have an eclectic vibe.
On the bottom its mostly business with some wine glasses, booze, and a few other cocktail essentials. To keep the bottom shelf from looking too utilitarian, I added my gold pineapple ice bucket.
And of course, my gold mirror helps bounce extra light around from our windows and gives me a place to check my lipstick before I am out the door.
These fun kitchen towels from last year’s Joann’s summer home decor line. They have a very Palm Beach, Lilly Pulitzer vibe.
Overall, this bar cart is neat, styled and organized for spring entertaining and spring break! My spring break I’ll mostly be flying solo, and who knows, maybe a daytime margarita or three will be on my schedule.
I’m now handing you off to one of my blog friends…Ariel from PMQ for Two! She recently unveiled her new studio, and I swear I want to hop on a plane to Canada to go visit it in person and give her a huge hug. She’s the sweetest and so supportive. Check out her FABULOUS tablescape here.
I’ll be back Friday with details on how our black interior doors are working out for us and if I have any regrets or issues with them. Until then, smooches!
